Dear MUN directors, advisors, aspiring delegates and student officers,
On behalf of our Board of Directors, we are overjoyed to announce the first ever Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest Model United Nations (RijnMUN) hosted at our school in 2024. And so hereby we would like to welcome you to our website.
Over the past months our Board of Directors has worked effortlessly to build up our conference from point zero, and we are excited to finally be able to share our efforts with you. Our theme for this conference is 'Harmony in healing; a journey to peace and hope in conflict-torn areas'. In these troubling times, with the war raging in Ukraine, and the situation in Gaza, many more innocent citizens are becoming victims of these conflicts. At RijnMUN, we believe in promoting peace, and hope, and these words are at the core of our conference.
This MUN conference will be directed towards beginner delegates, with little to no MUN experience, as we aim to promote MUN to a new generation of delegates and student officers. Throughout our three-day conference we will be offering both beginner delegate and beginner student officer workshops to help new delegates learn what Model United Nations is all about.
